Welcome to Gothenburg International School (GIS), a new international school opening in Mölndal in August 2026. We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for our founding intake.

GIS has been established to meet the growing demand from international families in the Gothenburg region for a high-quality, internationally focused education. We offer a continuous Cambridge pathway for students aged 5 to 18, providing a strong academic journey from Early Years through to university preparation.

At GIS, we combine academic excellence with a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our approach encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence, while equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in a global and fast-changing world.

We welcome families from diverse international backgrounds and are committed to building a strong, engaged school community from the very beginning.

Applications for the August 2026 intake are now open. Places will be limited during the founding years, and we encourage families to apply early to secure a place.
