Welcome to Gothenburg International School

Gothenburg International School (GIS) is an English-language international school in Mölndal, welcoming families from across the Gothenburg region.

We believe children learn best when they feel comfortable at school, know their teachers understand them, and get the attention they need. With a maximum of 15 students per class, our teachers have the time to know each child, follow their progress closely and recognise when they need extra support or greater challenge.

GIS offers a British approach to education that encourages children to be curious, ask questions, think independently and take an active role in their learning.

We also want children to enjoy coming to school, build friendships and feel they belong. Our international community brings together families from different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
