How to Apply

Applications are now open for January 2027 for Years 1–9 (ages 6–14). School starts on Tuesday 12 January 2027, and the application deadline is Monday 30 November 2026.

There are no application, enrolment or tuition fees.

Two Ways to Start

Register your interest. If you would like to learn more first or have questions, complete the short interest form. Our admissions team will contact you about eligibility, year-group placement and the next steps. Registering your interest does not commit you to anything or reserve a place.

Apply directly. If you are ready, you can submit a formal application now. The steps are set out below.

The Application Process

1. Prepare Your Documents

You will be asked to upload:

• your child’s passport or official identification document
• a passport or official identification document for each parent or legal guardian
• your child’s most recent school report, where available
• your child’s vaccination or immunisation record
• any current educational, learning-support or specialist reports, where relevant

Documents may be submitted in their original language. If a document is not available, please contact admissions@goteborgis.se before you apply.

2. Submit Your Application

Please complete a separate application for each child. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or reserve a place.

3. Admissions Review

Our admissions team will review eligibility, year-group placement, supporting documents and availability. We may also invite you and your child to a meeting. This is a conversation to get to know your child, not an exam or test.

4. Offer of Admission

If a place is available, you will receive a formal Offer of Admission explaining the next steps.

5. Confirm the Place

Accept the offer by the date stated in it, and your child’s place is confirmed.
